This policy outlines the terms and conditions for the use of our healthcare business aggregator app, in accordance with the applicable laws of India, such as the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023; Indian Medical Council (Professional Conduct, Etiquette and Ethics) Regulations, 2002.
The primary objective of this policy is to outline the terms under which the Healthcare Business Aggregator App operates, enabling users to access a wide range of healthcare services. These services include scheduling appointments, connecting with healthcare providers, and utilizing various medical consultations, and wellness support features. The app is designed to offer a personalized healthcare experience that meets the unique needs of each user, ensuring a seamless, efficient, and accessible platform for all participants.
This policy applies to all users of the Book Local App, including healthcare professionals, patients, and third-party service providers. It establishes the rights, responsibilities, and obligations of each party within the app’s ecosystem, ensuring that all users adhere to the terms of use and relevant legal frameworks. The scope of this policy comprises all activities carried out through the app, including registration, appointment scheduling, use of services, payment processes, and data privacy management, as well as the interaction between healthcare providers and patients.
To use the complete services provided by Book Local, users are required to register and create an account. During the registration process, users must provide accurate personal details, and in some cases, they may be asked to verify their identity. It is the user's responsibility to protect their login credentials and account information. The app will not be held liable for any losses, damages, or consequences arising from a user’s failure to safeguard their account information.
Book Local facilitates access to a wide variety of healthcare services, allowing users to schedule both physical and online appointments with doctors, healthcare providers, and specialists. The app offers a comprehensive database of healthcare professionals across various specialties, allowing users to filter providers based on their needs and preferences. The platform’s goal is to streamline the healthcare experience, ensuring users can easily book appointments, manage their healthcare schedules, and receive high-quality care from trusted professionals.
We take the privacy and security of user data seriously. All personal information provided by users of Book Local is handled in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. We follow strict data protection standards to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and security of all user data. Personal data collected through Book Local will only be used for the purpose of facilitating healthcare services and will not be shared with third parties without the user's explicit consent. Users have the right to access, modify, or delete their personal data, as outlined in our Privacy Policy. We employ industry-standard encryption and security protocols to protect user data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
Users of Book Local are expected to provide accurate and up-to-date information when registering and using the app. Users are required to comply with all relevant laws and regulations those related to healthcare. Any user found engaging in fraudulent activities, submitting false information, or using the app for illegal purposes will have their account suspended or terminated. Users are also expected to respect the rights of healthcare professionals, other users, and service providers while using the app. Misuse of the app, including disruptive or harmful behavior, is strictly prohibited.
Healthcare providers listed on Book Local are responsible for ensuring that their qualifications, credentials, and services are accurately represented. Providers must comply with the Indian Medical Council (Professional Conduct, Etiquette, and Ethics) Regulations, 2002, and other relevant healthcare standards while delivering services via the app. Providers must maintain confidentiality and secure all patient information in accordance with Indian medical and privacy regulations. Providers are also responsible for keeping their appointment schedules updated, delivering services in a timely manner, and adhering to ethical practices in all interactions with patients and app users.
Users can easily book appointments through Book Local, selecting from available slots provided by healthcare professionals. Once an appointment is confirmed, users will receive a notification of confirmation within the application itself or via email or SMS. Users must adhere to the cancellation policies of healthcare providers. Any rescheduling or cancellation of the appointment shall be done through the app. Any rescheduling of appointment will be updated in the app, and users will be notified accordingly. Book Local may charge a nominal service fee for certain bookings, which will be clearly communicated to users during the booking process.
Book Local app serves as an intermediary platform between users and healthcare providers, and is not liable for any medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment offered by healthcare professionals listed on the app. We do not guarantee the accuracy or quality of services provided through the platform. Users are encouraged to verify the qualifications and suitability of healthcare professionals before booking appointments. Book Local app is not responsible for any medical conditions, outcomes, or damages resulting from the use of services facilitated through the app. additionally, the app is not liable for any technical issues or disruptions in service that may affect the availability or performance of the platform.
We reserve the right to amend this Application Policy at any time. Any changes to this policy will be communicated to users through notifications via email, SMS, or in-app alerts. Continued use of Book Local app following any amendments to the policy will constitute acceptance of the revised terms. Users are encouraged to review this policy periodically to stay informed of any updates. The most current version of the policy will always be available within the app and on our website.
